The Cru

TLDR; yeah these guys don't even seem to have a real logo. But the food is decent and the ambience is as well.

I've been to The CRU a few times now, and the experience I've had each time is pretty consistent.

My first experience was at a Bro's birthday dinner, we rented a table and the first thing that stood out to me was...
The Loud Music, now don't get me wrong, I love some good music, but man, bring some earphones to this place, heck and prepare to talk to your friends like you're in the middle of the dance floor, because thats exactly what this place sounds like.
Big Up! to the DJ though, he's good, but if you're going to be absolutely blasting music into people ears while they're at dinner, it better be good music.
This trend of crazy loud music continued throughout my other visits. But don't get me wrong, it's great for building vibes to do something after dinner.

The next stand out thing was the actual restaurant itself, the physical layout, it's actually upstairs on a rooftop like setting. It's very nicely structured. If the music wasn't so crazy loud you could actually take someone on a date there, but then again, it is the CRU, so it's for the CREW, not for dates.

And to that end, they do very well. The bar is properly stocked, they have a decent selection of drinks and alcohol, though i'm no heavy drinker, my friends are and they seemed very satisfied.

The food is also a pass, it's not as the women say orgasmic, however, it'll still treat your taste buds and you won't regret the purchase.
As for the pricing of that food, it's also middling, it's not too high, but don't go there on a tight budget.

The service is pretty good though! The staff is respectful, courteous and helpful.

The location is also win for them, for the most part.
It's located on Lady Musgrave Road, that's also where TGI is.
So it's not a very dangerous location, fair amount of foot traffic except in the later hours.
You can also get a bus or taxi pretty easily since its located so close to TGI which is at the intersection of Lady Musgrave and Hope Road.
The one downside to the location is that there isn't anywhere else you can really go to have fun within a walking distance. However if you drive, it's a definite go! (assuming parking is available)

So how would I rate THE CRU overall:

FOOD: 6/10
DRINKS: 7/10
AMBIENCE: 7/10
LOCATION: 7/10
SERVICE: 7/10
